Introduction to AI Engineering

Intro to AI Engineering is an 11-session, hands-on AI workforce-readiness course for students in grades 8–11. Students learn foundational coding, artificial intelligence, prompt engineering, Responsible AI, data, AI-supported solution design, engineering problem-solving, career exploration, and teamwork. Students conclude the course by designing and presenting an AI For Impact Challenge project and developing an AI Workforce Readiness Portfolio demonstrating what they learned and built.
